  1. #7 Best School Districts in WashingtonUniversity Place School DistrictUniversity Place, WA•School District•Rating 4.26 out of 5 31 reviewsSophomore: Honestly, though high school has its up and downs, the University Place School District has done an amazing job supporting every student. When it comes to preparation for after school, they provide students with all sorts of plans, not just college. When in school, they have a huge selection of classes at the high school to help you narrow down your interests. Most of the staff truly want you to succeed and it shows. Athletics are surprisingly good for a well-off academic school. Our aquatic teams can be relied on to win state most years, and other teams too! There are community events and just a great culture all centered around the school district. Overall it’s an amazing school district that most others just can’t top.... 2. #39 Best School Districts in WashingtonFife School DistrictTacoma, WA•School District•Rating 4.27 out of 5 41 reviewsSophomore: Fife is a pretty generic public school. It has its fair share of kids and everyone is nice. It’s kinda really average to the point where nothing happens at the school. The school itself seems very aware and accepting of everything going on recently. The only thing it really lacks is in academics. The school is pretty wealthy so it puts a lot of money into the technology department which I think is very good. However, because it is a small district it doesn’t have a wide variety of classes. I think that the art and music departments lack support the teachers fund most of it. I just think that the school should fund more of programs in those categories. Also, if you’re a more mathematic science person Fife doesn’t offer much in those categories. I don’t think there is a known math club or science club you also can’t skip courses. They do spend a lot on business and sports clubs though and are known for it well. Overall the student body is socially active and It’s a pretty good school.... They helped me to plan my college plans. Even though my plans changed through the years I still think high school prepped me for the days to come. Some of my teachers were better than others but that comes with the territory. I enjoyed high school but as always, was excited to get out!... 4. Cascade Christian Schools Puyallup Early Learning CenterPuyallup, WA•Preschool•Rating 5 out of 5 2 reviewsParent: We love CCS PELC. Our kids have attended PELC for the past 4 years. Our oldest started in the waddler's classroom, when we moved to the area, and our youngest started at 3 months old in the infant classroom. All of the teachers and staff are fun, compassionate, empathetic, and supportive. We know and trust that the teachers at PELC care deeply about the safety and development of our children. The school’s program provides the structure, play, and learning that my kids need. We feel extremely fortunate that our kids attend PELC. We know they are receiving the best care and education. We highly recommend it!... 5. #100 Best School Districts in WashingtonFranklin Pierce School DistrictTacoma, WA•School District•Rating 4.11 out of 5 62 reviewsSenior: It's not very often that we hear of high school making us humble, but mine did. I've never been to a more diverse, cultured, and aware school. Every kid had a different background, yet we were all brought together by our interests. I've learned so much more over my high school years than just math and science. Sometimes silence is golden, and taking a minute to listen to someone's story can make all the difference.... 6. Tacoma School DistrictTacoma, WA•School District•Rating 3.77 out of 5 136 reviewsNiche User: I started enrolling in Tacoma School District after moving from Kent. It was strange to me at first because it's quite different to the school that I was at earlier. However, the teachers and the classmates were very helpful and friendly. They helped me a lot throughout my years at middle schools and high school. My middle school teachers at Stewart Middle School are very nice and will always be there to help. One thing I noticed about Tacoma School District is that it is pretty diverse. When I was in Kent, there was less than 10 Asians in my grade and only a few African American. Because of this, couldn't get the resource I needed when I went to school in Kent, but got those in Tacoma. On the other hand, I think because Kent school district have better funding, they have more resources offered at school and that the food was better. One thing I think Tacoma school district should add on to their website is a list of resources that student could easily access to them.... 7. Clover Park School DistrictLakewood, WA•School District•Rating 3.84 out of 5 80 reviewsAlum: School districts in general should start teaching the most important fundamentals for life after high school, since many have to learn themselves when schools should help prepare how to live life after graduating. As well as with preparing for college, they should enforce it as well to be helping with it as early as entering middle school as I believe the earlier you prepare the easier it will be with course-planning throughout your grade school life to get your requirements out of the way and make it easier as you move forward by not having to do retakes or unnecessary makeups and rather have your so desired free periods/fun elective classes etc. throughout high school. I think by doing this can also boost the graduation rate and lower the numbers of high school dropouts by enforcing them at a young age, can foster a more scholarly mindset to focus on achieving educational success to attend college and pursue a career.... 8. Federal Way Public SchoolsFederal Way, WA•School District•Rating 3.68 out of 5 102 reviewsSenior: Overall FWPS is a very good school district! I am currently getting my school rebuilt. This is something that will better our school because before we dealt with overcrowding and no parking spaces in the past, with a bigger school we have more space and more classrooms with more teachers leading to overall better education. I've been in the FWPS school district since I was in second grade and never had any issues with this district. I've learned a lot and now in my senior year of high school I've truly grown and blossomed into the person I am today with the education I got from going to school everyday. I currently have a 3.6 G.P.A and am on track to graduate and get honors and awards. I could have ever been here without going to school everyday and gaining an education that inspires and motivates me to attend college and make a future for myself.... 9. Charles Wright AcademyTacoma, WA•Private School•PK, K-12•Rating 4.34 out of 5 93 reviewsParent: We have only been at CWA for the last two years, but WOW what a find for a family new to the area. The other schools we looked at were pretentious with strict dress code and a canned IB approach that we could have gotten at the local public middle school. At CWA, it's all experiential, hands-on, and super fun. My son gets tons of opportunity to pursue his interests like robotics, soccer, and band while learning the curriculum lots of extra-curricular programming right on campus (mine takes his private music lessons during and right after school), all the major sports are offered even in MS. They even manage an amazing Outdoor Education program and are taking the kids to Puerto Rico next year in grade 8. We absolutely love Charles Wright and whether you are a full pay family or need financial aid (which they give generously) we feel strongly that everyone should learn more about this hidden gem of a school. 10. Seattle Waldorf SchoolSeattle, WA•Private School•PK, K-12•Rating 3.73 out of 5 22 reviewsSenior: Seattle Waldorf high school is very community-oriented. The teachers become your mentors and aren't just there for the job. Because we are a small school, classes become tight-knit units where peers rely on each other. Throughout my 16 years attending Seattle Waldorf school, I have learned that community is vital to a good education. I am comfortable with all of my peers and have made deep connections with people I might not have outside of school. The material we learn grows with us. For example, we started reading in third grade because that was when our brains were ready to learn how to read. My Waldorf experience has made me who I am today. Because our school is small, I am working on diversifying our school starting with the curriculum as president of the DEI club. I love my SWS community and will be sad to leave it when I graduate....
